DeLisa Minor Harris is the Director of Library Services at Fisk University, where she leads the John Hope and Aurelia E. Franklin Library, focusing on strengthening archival stewardship, expanding access to digital and print resources, and supporting student and faculty research. Her work centers on aligning library services, special collections, and digital initiatives with the university's academic mission.
She serves as Project Director for the Mellon-funded Portal to the Julius Rosenwald Fund Archives, a multi-year initiative dedicated to digitizing, interpreting, and increasing public access to the Rosenwald Fund Collection at Fisk University.
Ms. Minor Harris is also a Ph.D. candidate in Public History at Middle Tennessee State University. Her doctoral research examines the life and legacy of Henrietta Crawley Myers, the longest-tenured female director of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, with broader scholarly interests in African American women’s leadership, historic preservation, and public interpretation.
