Ginger Williams has served as Dean of Library Services at Fort Hays State University since February 2022 and previously served as Associate Dean for Academic Engagement and Public Services at Wichita State University. She has overseen a recently completed comprehensive renovation of FHSU's Tebo Library and the expansion of the WSU Libraries' 24-hour study room.
Ginger is active in state and national organizations, serving as a member of the Humanities Kansas Board of Directors and its Executive and Advocacy Committees, President of the Kansas Library Association College and University Libraries Section and the Kansas Council of Academic Library Deans and Directors, and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She has held positions on ACRL, LLAMA/Core, and ALADN committees, including the ACRL 2025 President's Program Planning Committee, Hugh C. Atkinson Memorial Award Committee, and the ALADN 2026 Conference Mentoring Committee. Ginger is also a mom, romance reader, IPA lover, quilter, and runner.
