Kari Johnson is the Director of Programs and Facilities at Bowling Green State University Libraries. She brings nearly two decades of experience in academic libraries, where she has played a key role in advancing fundraising and development efforts. Her work includes leading annual giving campaigns, organizing fundraising events, and cultivating relationships with donor groups such as Friends of the Library and other affinity groups.
Kari also has extensive experience in library marketing and outreach, helping to connect the campus community with library resources and initiatives. Beyond fundraising, she is passionate about reimagining library spaces—overseeing design updates and construction projects to create environments that better serve patrons
