Speaker Biography
Kera Newby is the Director of Special Collections and Archives at the University of Texas at Arlington Libraries. As an archives leader, she works to break barriers to access to collections and reinvent the boundaries of academic archives. With a background in museum curation and archives, she integrates public history approaches to outreach and programming. She works closely with gift-in-kind and philanthropic donors, helping preserve UTA and North Texas history.
