Speaker Biography
Tywanda Cuffy serves as Director of External Relations, Communications, and Development Initiatives for the University of Delaware Library, Museums, and Press. Reporting to the Vice Provost, she provides strategic leadership in communications, marketing, donor relations, events, and fundraising to advance the University’s libraries, museums, and press. An award-winning expert in integrated communications and innovative development strategies, she leads initiatives that strengthen donor relationships, grow philanthropic support, and elevate institutional visibility. Tywanda has facilitated national workshops and serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Advancement, Communications, and Development in Academic Libraries. She holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Delaware and Wilmington University, respectively.
